A "Domain Name" uniquely represents you or your company online. For example, if your domain name was smartz.com, your website address would be http://www.smartz.com, and your e-mail address would be yourname@smartz.com. A domain name does not contain "www" (but your associated website address would). Domain names should be registered through your web developer or hosting provider. Domains are portable and can be moved at a later time.
